Bordoy Hotel
The project arises from the challenge of reinterpreting the brand’s original aesthetic and translating it into a new building through a contemporary language.
It is a newly built urban boutique hotel in Palma de Mallorca, with approximately 4,000 sqm of constructed area and 48 rooms. The building is organized around a spacious inner courtyard, providing natural light, ventilation, and a शांत atmosphere within the urban fabric, enhancing the overall spatial quality of the project.
The proposal combines a carefully developed architectural concept with high-quality common areas, designed to offer a balanced experience between privacy and social interaction, positioning the hotel as an attractive option for both urban tourism and business stays.
The interior design is defined by a avant-garde aesthetic influenced by the world of Italian fashion, creating elegant, refined environments with a distinctive identity. The spaces, neutral and well-balanced, rely on warm, soft lighting that enhances comfort and relaxation.
Materiality is based on the use of noble materials such as wood, marble, and glass, combined with metallic elements that introduce contrast and warmth. Light-toned finishes and fine textures reinforce both brightness and the sensory quality of the spaces.
The rooms are conceived as serene and functional environments, where the integration of elements, such as concealed doors, semi-open wardrobes, and integrated lighting, enhances spaciousness and visual continuity. The bathrooms, bright and warm, combine natural materials, direct and indirect lighting, and a soft color palette that encourages rest.
In the common areas, the proposal incorporates a Mediterranean identity through materials, colors, and handcrafted elements. White, sand, and blue tones, together with distinctive pieces and decorative lighting, shape welcoming spaces with character.
A project that integrates architecture and interior design to create a contemporary, sophisticated hotel focused on the user experience.
