Renovation of a Modernist Building in Palma

This project focuses on restoring and enhancing the value of a late 19th-century modernist building. The original apartments were dark, with a narrow staircase and interior rooms lacking natural light and ventilation.

Today, the ground floor houses a new Mango retail space. A lift has been installed, along with a new lightwell, to meet current standards of habitability. The former courtyard, which was in a very poor state, has been brought back to life through an interior design intervention that respects and engages with the building’s original elements.

The project also includes a full renovation of the façade, restoring its presence and improving its integration into the urban environment.
