First prize at the Girona 2025 Architecture Awards

The Molí del Senyor project has been awarded First Prize ex aequo in the 27th edition of the Comarques de Girona 2025 Architecture Awards, awarded by the Association of Catalonia (COAC).

The restoration of the 17th century mill in La Bisbal d'Empordà recovers its original volume and adapts it to current needs, preserving its relationship with the landscape and heritage. The intervention respects the original structure and materials, incorporates sustainable technologies - such as a wooden roof with photovoltaic panels - and adds a volume where the old pond was, optimising the climatic and visual orientation. The outdoor space, with native vegetation and a salt pool, reinforces the environmental integration.
