CMV Architects celebrates 30 years of architecture

29.10.2025 •

This book was created to celebrate three decades of CMV Architects: six partners, a team of 49 professionals and a history built on teamwork and a passion for architecture. Its pages recount the firm's beginnings, its perspectives and its vision for the sector.

A look at the history of CMV through memories, reflections and anecdotes that celebrate friendship, passion and love for architecture and design.

From its beginnings in Palma de Mallorca to its consolidation with offices in Barcelona and Vietnam, CMV has developed more than 300 projects in the residential, hotel and corporate sectors, always with a human and sustainable approach.

‘This book is a snapshot of a key moment for CMV: the celebration of its 30th anniversary. It is a crystallisation of ideas, visions, anecdotes and reflections from three decades of experience.

A conversation in which the personal and the professional intermingle and reveal a path full of passion and commitment, successes and challenges, learning and clear signs of growth.’

Today, CMV has six partners, 49 employees and a portfolio of more than 300 projects. They work in several different areas: residential, hotel and corporate. The partners say that their history is based on the trust of their clients and that, without the bond of friendship that unites them, none of these milestones would have been possible.

These pages offer a deeper insight into their complicity, shared values and diverse inspirations; a multifaceted view of the profession and its implications in a globalised and constantly changing context. Faced with the challenges posed by the sector (ecological, social, technological and economic), CMV adapts and reinvents itself to keep its mission intact: to build in the service of the planet and those who inhabit it. The studio has been characterised by designing each project as a conversation between technique and emotion, always with a human and sustainable approach.

The book, designed by Ingrid Picanyol, with texts by Anna Roura and printed by Gràfiques Ortells, offers a glimpse into the evolution of the studio.

More than a commemorative book, this work is a tribute to friendship and a shared love of design.
